Jim joined Austwine in 1998 as a minor shareholder of Austwine Exports, and at the same time founded Austwine Brokers. He has an Honours Degree in Law, a Bachelors Degree in Economics and is a Certified Practicing Accountant. Before joining Austwine, Jim worked for approximately 10 years in both the legal and accounting professions as well as gaining experience with a public utility and a large listed mining house.  Jim grew up on a vineyard, and since 1995 has been involved full time in the Australian Wine Industry.

Jim is always on the move, however his spare time is spent with his wife and 4 children (including twin boys!)
