Sue Murphy – Director of First Impressions

Sue started at Austwine in February 2006. Before working here, she spent over 20 years working for a chartered accounting firm. In her spare time, Sue has a keen interest in the real estate market and in particular in building and selling houses. She is also a keen gardener, and enjoys walking her dog and cooking.

Jim Moularadellis – Chief Enthusiasm Officer

Jim joined Austwine in 1998 as a minor shareholder of Austwine Exports, and at the same time founded Austwine Brokers. He has an Honours Degree in Law, a Bachelors Degree in Economics and is a Certified Practicing Accountant. Before joining Austwine, Jim worked for approximately 10 years in both the legal and accounting professions as well as gaining experience with a public utility and a large listed mining house. Jim grew up on a vineyard, and since 1995 has been involved full time in the Australian Wine Industry. Jim is always on the move, however his spare time is spent with his wife and 4 children (including twin boys!)

Andrea Carter – Accounts Officer

Andrea started working at Austwine in mid 2000 as Jim’s personal assistant. In 2006 she moved into a new role as accounts officer in the Finance team. Prior to working at Austwine, Andrea worked with a public relations firm for 6 years. In her spare time she enjoys reading, dining out, and spending time with family and friends, although most of her time is spent chasing after her young children.

Amanda Green – Business Development Executive

Amanda commenced at Austwine in March 2009. Before joining Austwine, Amanda spent 7 years in a sales role with a major supplier associated with the Australian wine industry. Amanda’s favourite pastimes include enjoying great wine and food with family and friends. She loves to cook and entertain, so often has a full house on weekends.

David Hill – Business Development Executive

David commenced at Austwine in April 2002 as Export Sales Manager. After studying a Bachelor of Business in Economics, he entered the wine industry in 1985. He has since worked in various sales and management roles with wine wholesalers, producers, and a global wine company with experience in branded, bulk wine, and wine by-products. A wine and food enthusiast, David also enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends and is a keen (albeit, frustrated) golfer and sports follower.

Adam Lampit – Business Development Executive

Adam commenced at Austwine in February 2011. Before working at Austwine Adam spent the last decade working his way up from a Vintage Cellar Hand to a General Manager for an ultra premium Adelaide Hills Winery. In his spare time Adam enjoys spending time with family & friends, travelling, playing golf/tennis and enjoying fine wine, good food and great company.

Kim Lisk – Accountant

Kim completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of South Australia in mid 2010. Prior to joining Austwine, she worked in a public practice accounting firm for 4 years in business and taxation services.

In Kim’s spare time, her hobbies and interests include making greeting cards, cooking, V8 supercars and cars in general (Holden lover through and through), watching movies and spending time with friends and family, as well as currently building her first house!

Jessica Mugge – Business Development Executive

Before working at Austwine, Jess spent time working in cellar door and hospitality with one of Australia’s most recognised wine companies. In her spare time, Jess enjoys spending time with family and friends and her pet dogs.

Chris Nye – Vineyard Manager

Chris has been involved in the wine industry for 15 years, working throughout several wine regions throughout Australia. He is passionate and dedicated and takes great pride in his vineyards. For relaxation he enjoys golf, horse racing and of course a good bottle of Barossa red.

Anthony Turbill – Shipping & Accounts Officer

Anthony joined Austwine as the shipping and accounts officer midway through 2008. He previously worked in the UK for two and a half years for a leading liquid logistics company, dealing primarily with European import and export operations.

In his spare time Anthony enjoys swimming, experimenting with new recipes, playing around on his turntables, and planning which exotic country to visit next!

Sara Ware – Chief Financial Officer

Sara joined the Austwine team in October, 2011. Prior to working at Austwine, Sara worked as the Financial Controller at CHC Helicopters Australia (formerly Lloyd Helicopters). Sara’s career at CHC spanned 16 years, as she worked her way up from Accounts Receivable and Payroll, whilst completing her Bachelor of Commerce and then becoming a Certified Practicing Accountant. A member of Scouts SA, Sara is an Activity Leader with Scout Caving Group and also has a strong affiliation with Rover Scouts. A proud mother of three adult boys, Sara’s weekends are often spent four-wheel driving and camping. She enjoys catching up with family and friends over a meal and a glass (or two) of wine.
